DIVERSE CAPABILITIES

Laying/Salvaging of sub-sea oil and gas pipelines of various sizes.

Pipe Laying operation is done employing the side launching method (stalking). Before launching, welded joints are X-Ray tested using API 1104 as the standard code for interpretation for oil and gas pipeline and wrapped with neoprene heat shrinkable sleeves.

Stress analysis is pre-determined before the actual laying works by our competent Engineers based on the prevailing standard practice. Configuration of the pipeline such; angle at lift point, tension, counter tension, etc., are closely monitored to ensure no over stressing during laying operation.

Laying of submarine power & control cables of various sizes.

On-going laying of submarine power cable is done utilizing the Tug/Anchor Handling Boat which is also fitted with DGPS linked to the Control Room while following the pre-determined cable route and is being directed by our own professional Hydrographic Surveyor who is on-board the Tug.

Mooring Winch Operation takes place inside the Control Room Where the submarine pipelines or power cables are configured while monitoring the placement of mooring anchors between existing pipeline networks using the latest & state-of-the-art DGPS or the Differential Global Positioning Satellite during the operation.

Other works include:

  1. Conductor piling for new wells offshore and the related piping works.
  2.  Maintenance & Repair of Loading Facilities.
  3.  Salvaging of Offshore Structures.
  4.  Maintenance/Repair of Offshore Navigation Facilities & Survival Capsule.

Repairs/Maintenance and upgrading of well jackets and related structures such as boat-landing, risers, wellhead piping and their tie-in works.

Production Separator Vessel being lifted from the platform for maintenance as part of the periodical overhaul of Offshore Production Facilities.

The new boat landing assembly weighing approximately 20 tons is pre-fabricated and assembled by our team of skilled pipe fitters and welders on the deck of the Barge which was garnet blasted to SA 2 ½ and painted.
